5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information for as long as needed to run WeedBuds, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Account records and User Content are generally retained while your account is active. Support, security, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be kept longer when necessary. You may request a copy of your account data or delete your account in the app under Terms & Privacy. After deletion, some limited information may remain for a short period in backups, logs, security records, legal records, or de-identified analytics.

You can update account information in the app, adjust profile privacy where available, block users, manage location, camera, photo library, and push notification permissions through your device settings, and control website cookies through your browser. Disabling permissions may limit app functionality. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your information.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
